FIRST FAT VIA LIVE VIDEO

Current times call for new ways to organize existing work streams. Therefore, we conducted our very first digital and live FAT (Factory Acceptance Test). An FAT serves to test the robot system and to get the customer’s final approval. It is usually carried out on the manufacturer’s site. Due to the current corona pandemic and the prevailing safety and hygiene measures, COVERIS and KOCH agreed to an online version of the FAT. A live video presented the functions of the two KOCH Robot Flex Packer systems and one palletizing robot. Questions were asked directly via meeting software. Even though this approach was completely unknown territory for both parties, we can look back at a very successful FAT. The robot system will be delivered shortly to the COVERIS site in Halle/Westfalen to increase their productivity of the packaging and palletizing process.
